About the founder

Christine Burke

DigitalPI™ was created by Christine Burke, a retired police detective and patrol sergeant, licensed private investigator, and court-qualified law enforcement expert witness with decades of experience inside the criminal justice system.

  • — Retired police detective and patrol sergeant
  • — Licensed private investigator and agency owner
  • — Court-qualified law enforcement expert witness
  • — Education in criminal justice and organizational management
  • — Experience reviewing police practices, investigative files, criminal discovery, and forensic genetic genealogy

Why she created DigitalPI™

Throughout her career, one problem stayed constant: competent investigative help is hard to obtain. Public defense teams face limited time and resources, and private investigators can be financially out of reach. Families are frequently left trying to understand police reports, discovery, and timelines on their own.

Christine created DigitalPI™ to help bridge that gap — using technology to make a disciplined, document-focused investigative process more accessible. It provides a structured process for organizing facts, reviewing records, comparing accounts, identifying inconsistencies, locating missing evidence, and developing investigative leads.

Christine's professional services vs. DigitalPI™

Christine Burke offers personal, licensed investigative and expert-witness services separately from DigitalPI™. DigitalPI™ is an automated, AI-assisted software platform. It applies her methodology to organize and review documents, but it is not the same as retaining Christine or another licensed investigator, and it does not provide licensed investigative or legal services.

DigitalPI™ is an AI-assisted research and organization tool. It is not a law firm, attorney, or substitute for a licensed investigator. It does not provide legal advice or determine guilt or innocence. All generated findings should be independently verified.
